MULTIMEDIA PROJECT GUIDELINES

Overview of Project

Your development team is to create a multimedia presentation for presentation to the class. The members of each team and the topic of each project is assigned by the instructor. The emphasis of the project is on the mechanics, as well as the content, of the production.

Required elements of the project

• Presentation must be in PowerPoint format with all multimedia components imbedded.
• Video footage of each individual development team member must be included.
• Presentation of final video compilation to the class:
• Include detailed description of process used to accomplish each of the above required elements.
• Describe processes that did and did not work.
• Make suggestions on techniques to improve.

Critique/Reflection (10% of semester grade)

Each student will write a critique/reflection paper, not to exceed one (1) page in length, addressing each project. Critiques need not be written on your own team’s project.

Remember:

The multimedia component accounts for 50% of the total semester grade.

The project itself counts toward 25% of the semester grade. It must be evident that each member of the team has contributed significantly to the project.

The classroom presentation of the project counts toward 15%. Each member must actively participate in the presentation to receive presentation credit.

Critiques/reflections count toward 10% of the semester grade.
