THE INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL ETHICS

One of this site's useful features for students is the monthly ethical dilemmas, often complete with some discussion of resolution principle application.  Links to other sites of interest are available also.

Rushworth Kidder, author of HOW GOOD PEOPLE MAKE TOUGH CHOICES,  is the director of the institute.  His work will be familiar to students in several of Reynolds' classes.

The Institute's mission is to:

The Institute divides its efforts into three primary areas of concern: Corporate Services, Education Programs, and Public Policy Programs.

The Institute has an international board of directors, an international advisory council, a network of nationwide and global connections, and a membership base of more than a thousand individuals in the United States and around the world. Our funding comes from private foundations, from our members, and from such fee-for-service activities as ethics training seminars, lectures, sales of publications, and consulting.

THE MARKKULA CENTER FOR APPLIED ETHICS

SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY, CALIFORNIA

This interesting site offers links to books and articles, current issues, on-going dialogues and meetings.  One especially useful feature is its framework for ethical decision making, which I recommend as useful to my students using Ruggiero's and Kidder's similar frameworks.
