Many things to do to finish our class strong. Look at the course objectives again: http://faculty.tamu-commerce.edu/jthompson/524/524Obj.ppt

Think, constantly, about your tutoring case study project: http://faculty.tamu-commerce.edu/jthompson/524/TutoringProject.ppt. What would you like to do to show your case study to our class on 12/4? How you present your case study is totally optional. Do not try to guess what I want - what do you want? Then do it.

Read Gunning, chapter 12 on Diversity and chapter 13 on Management. Soon, there will be directions in eCollege on how to respond and engage these topics.

ESSAY Three - Evaluate yourself as a communicator. Here is the ppt used in class to get you thinking about Gender and Language: http://faculty.tamu-commerce.edu/jthompson/Presentations/HelpingFathersEngage.ppt. Observe yourself - how do you communicate? Choose a specific time and watch your own style, method, mode, meaning, tone, etc - and evaluate: How effective are you at total communication? Write a one to two page paper; it is due in eCollege drop box by Sunday, 11/23.
