Observation Rubric

How are your child study observations going? Remember that they are due on Thursday, 3/29, along with your typed reflection. I have put the Child Study Observation rubric online here and in eCollege, doc sharing. Let me know how I can help.

Your age & stage study is due in April.

Read your Lit Circle texts, and discuss.

A new discussion topic has opened up in our eCollege Student Lounge: We are assigned to go into the field, where real children are, and observe. In lieu of visiting the fetus unborn, we can interview her parent(s). What are some questions, perspectives, and approaches to this project for each of you?

For Thur, Feb 8, pray for Josh in San Antonio at http://www.sera-edresearch.org/conference/. Our guest will be Mrs. Angie Hammond. Read chapters 3 & 4 in Berk (2006) on Pre-natal Development, Labor & Delivery, and Infancy. For our exam, I will prepare 20-30 definitions to demonstrate your mastery of information from chapters 1-5 & 14. You must prepare a short answer question from chapters 1-5 & 14 (you choose)  that would challenge your neighbor. Type your question out (bring at least 2 copies). I will randomly assign you to a partner to share questions with.

For Feb 1, create a Genogram of our your own family.
