  1. 2. For the Generalist, complete several of the TAKS release tests found at the TEA website. Take various levels – even the Exit level for High School Juniors.

  1. 3. The TExES website http://www.texes.ets.org/prepMaterials/ has study material. These are the official preparation materials.

  1. 4. PACT at Tarleton http://tap.tarleton.edu/pact/ has tutorials, and practice exams. Create a free account.

  1. 5. Contact Interns or Residents, or recent graudates, who have successfully completed the TExES for copies of study guides at a discounted price. Purchase a practice guide and share with colleagues.

  1. 6. Form a study group. Pull materials from a variety of sources for your targeted domains.
