Faculty Development

Instructional-Related Conference
2007:  Master Teacher Conference. Atlanta, Georgia.

My Objective

My objective is to build a career as an outstanding Faculty in a reputed institution and also contribute to my profession through theoretical and empirical research. My goal as a teacher is to motivate and enable students to learn about the theoretical and practical aspects of the course contents and apply them in their own fields. My particular interest and expertise is in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics and Statistics, but I believe in interdisciplinary research. I want my students also to be able to understand the interdisciplinary nature of useful knowledge. My experience is that students learn better when they find a subject interesting and useful in their personal and professional lives. Therefore, I select the examples from various fields and show how business and other managerial decisions are based on team works involving interdisciplinary expertise. I respect and promote intellectual diversity among my students.
