My name is María Fernández Lamarque, I was born in Lima, Perú. I am presently an Associate Professor of Spanish and Latin American Literature and Film at Texas A&M University-Commerce. My primary research interest is Multicultural Children and Adolescent Literature, Dystopian Discourses in Contemporary Latin American Literature/Culture, and in Peninsular Literature (1936-1975 period).
