Publish FrontPage Web Page
To Tripod.com

Open FrontPage
Open new page
Create home page
Click on “Save As” and save home page as “index.html”
(It is important to save as index.html. Index.html is the default setting for Tripod.com. Other sites use default.html.)
Create rest of site and save.
You are now ready to publish to Tripod.com.
To Publish To Tripod from FrontPage:
Once you have your FrontPage Web Page saved, you are ready to publish.
Open your browser
Go to http://www.tripod.com/
Click on Sign Up for free membership on the lower left hand corner of screen.
Fill out required fields. Make sure you remember your Member Name and Password.

Lycos Registration (be careful what you sign up for in this section)
Tripod and Terra Lycos Offers (same as above)
Enter Confirmation Code
Click on “I Agree”
You will see your username and URL. Remember theses!
You must now enable your Tripod account to publish FrontPage.
Go to the Home Page of Tripod.
Go to my account.
Enter your user name and password.
Your account page will appear.
On the left side of the page click on Website Details.
Scroll down to Preferences. Microsoft FrontPage.
Enable.
You have now enabled your Tripod Account to accept FrontPage Web Pages.
Publish
Go back to your FrontPage Web Site and open it.
Click on File
Click on Publish Web
Enter the correct path into the “Look In Box” while in the Web Publishing Box.
http://frontpage.tripod.com/your-member-name/ (The last slash is the key!)
Click O.K.
The files from your page will appear in the Publish Web Box.
Click Publish.
Go to your Tripod URL and look at your newly published site.
Editing Your Tripod Site From FrontPage
Open FrontPage
Click on Open Web
Type in: http://frontpage.tripod.com/your-member-name/(the last slash is the key)
Type in your user name and password and Click O.K.
Click on File
Click on Open
Select your index.html file and click on O.K.
Edit your site
Click on Save
Check your site on Tripod. You will need to hit the refresh button.
Repeat as necessary.
Helpful Hints:
Use the help button on the Tripod home page when you run into difficulties.
The help button is located in the upper right hand corner of the home page.
Type in your question and the site should be able to answer your question.
