Without us, the economy and workforce cannot return to ‘normal’. With us, policy planners and strategists can create a new abnormal suitable for all learners, and generous to all early childhood caregivers and educators. Utilizing principles from the fourth edition – DRAFT – of DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICE – and the recently published 2019 Position Statement ADVANCING EQUITY IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, and SOCIAL JUSTICE STANDARDS from Teaching Tolerance, participants in this session will discuss and consider, plan and take action to improve learning for all young Texans.
