Kibum Kwon is an assistant professor in the Department of Higher Education and Learning Technologies at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Dr. Kwon holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development with emphasis on human resource development (HRD)/organization development (OD) from the Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, he worked as an NSF-funded project evaluator at the Center for Science and the Schools. He also participated in Pennsylvania state-funded grant projects as a research assistant at the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy Analysis and Professional Personnel Development Center. Prior to Penn State, he served as an HRD manager for LG electronics, where he designed the talent strategy and implemented enterprise-wide programs to drive talent management initiatives for transforming leaders, enhancing performance, and ensuring a healthy talent pipeline. Since he joined the faculty at TAMUc in fall 2017, he has developed and taught courses in Organization, Learning, and Technology (OLT) program. Dr. Kwon's primary research interest is human capital investment, talent management, and employee engagement, as well as statistical methods for longitudinal data analysis.
