Astrophysics
A course designed to introduce students to astrophysics and in particular to nuclear astrophysics. We will discuss observations, cosmology, particle and nuclear physics, interaction of radiation with matter, stellar evolution, big bang nucleosynthesis, neutron stars, supernova explosions, cosmic rays and other exotic phenomena in the Universe.
